If I use a different program to create hot cues. Can Virtual DJ 8 can read it, so I don't have to re do it?

I really like to use inkey, and inkey now can creates hot cues.

It's probably easiest to try it.
If you set "getCuesFromTags" to Yes, VDJ will get the hot cues from the mp3 file, which works with Serato hot cues.
But I don't know if other software writes the cue points in the same standard way in the mp3
So... A quick test is probably the easiest way to find out
