Topic: Music cuts out

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I've looked on the internet for this issue and I can't find anything about it, or I can't word it correctly.
So I know this issue is with the speakers and not Virtual Dj, but I feel this would be the best place to get some answers.

My issue is that whenever there is silence in a song it the speakers (a Hifi Phillips system I think) stop outputting sound until it can detect audio, but by the time it detects audio some sound has already passed that it didn't pick up, for most of the time this isn't an Issue but for some songs like the tribe (https://youtu.be/6nfVqIqmpzA?t=3m14s) it will cut out around the drop, for instance in the time stamp I linked you would only hear every second "oh" which is a real problem.

Am I able to fix this issue? Also what could I call this issue, I feel like this is a feature like "Anti Static" or something, just so I can avoid something like this in the future.

Yes, i know what you are talking about. Thats a feature to save power (and Earth too :) ) . Same thing happens here with some Creative speakers i have for my desktop.
I have read that some offer an Option (no idea, could be some switcher, button/power combination ) to turn that feature off - unfortunately this is not available in my case - but search in the manual of your speakers or in the manufacture page to see if there is such for your case.

I don't know the specs of the system in question, or the way it was setup, but it sounds like input sensitivity, noise gate, time delay, compression or a combination of all. You may want to speak to the installer. I know some systems are prone to system noise in one form or another. The installer may have set the gate to limit that noise, and the release is not set correctly. As I said, it could be one or more of these specs.
