Topic: 8.2 not opening on first attempt.

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Since build 3324 I'm experiencing that my first attempt to open the software that it does not respond and I have to force quit. It'll open on the second attempt. This happens whether there's peripherals connected or not. I've a Mac Book Pro Mid 2012 with El Capitan 10.11.6. I've downloaded a fresh version and also done a factory reset of my settings, but has not resolved the problem?

Related to controllers or external hard drives connected?

Same here doesn't matter if anything is connected. It doesn't affect anything once it opens it's business as usual.

I have been experiencing the same thing as well.

MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2012) with El Captain. I have deleted and done a clean installation of Virtual dj but still have the same issue. Am considering going back to one of the earlier versions.

Same issue on one of two MacBooks.

Works fine on: Macbook Pro Early 2015 500 SSID 2.9 GHz i5 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3 OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.6 VDJ 8.2 b3420

Requires force quit on: MacBook Pro Mid 2012 750 GB 2.9 GHz i7 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 VDJ 8.2 b3420

Very frustrating when VDJ 8 does not open. Wheel sits and spins forever. Obvious force quit and it usually opens on 2nd time around. Opens very slowly when it does work. Ran 2 weddings with opening problem and DDJ SR worked fine with no issues thankfully. It never did this before and I cannot nail down what changed as too much changed including Yosemite, VDJ builds etc.

Followed a number of MAC application fixes but damn I need a degree to do some of that stuff.

Anyone else find a fix?

So I did a Cold Boot (Hold down start button until it shuts off) and then tested a full start 8 times or so and VDJ started first time each time.

Interesting.
