i am using vdj8.2 on windows 8
work perfect with numark nv
but i want to see my midi map
i have looked everywhere but i cannot see my map.xml
is it hidden file or how do i get it
can i export the settings in vdj ?

i am sure LE users can not see or alter mappings

I dont quite follow you, but if you are interested in what actions are assigned to each key of a controller, you can see those if you select the unit from VirtualDJ Settings->Controllers tab.

im after a controller midi map xml file
similar to a tsi file for traktor

Why would you want that file ?
Mapping files are included in the executable file and all you need is to just plug your controller to a computer running the latest build of VirtualDJ.
FYI, the "map" file is a combination of a definition file and a mapping file. Both are required for controller to work with VirtualDJ.
The definition is internal and cannot be shared or extracted. The mapping file (the actions you see in the Controllers tab) can be extracted, if you just change something to the existing one. A "Custom" mapping file will be then created in the /Mappers folder.
