Until now I found 4 threads you posted in in the last 24 hours.
You are just complaining that something is not working but not a single word of what VDJ version you are using, what OSX version and what other equipment is involved.

eventually...someday.. they'll finally figure out that 8 is not 7
granted that will be the same day they figure out how to give accurate detailed information for problem solving

Latest version of both 7 and 8. 8 runs stable but I can't get it to transition while automix is on. Version 8 will not Automix_dualdeck at all. It always has 2 songs on one deck. That is not what I want it to do. 7 will transition between songs with automix_dualdeck on but crashes all the time. If i were to set one playlist up and never touch it VDJ7 will run without crashing, but once I interact with the program a few times bring up the do you really want to switch song warning, the problem is that it puts the question screen up behind the program so I cannot click yes or no, hence the program is unable to be interacted with. I figured this out after having to force quit VDJ7 when it became unresponsive. I didn't have time last night to give full details because I was in the middle of a show with 200 college kids, I unhooked the MacBook and ran my Alienware which worked fine but the issue with that one is that the sound drops out of almost every song for a split second. It started doing this a few months ago which is why I was determined to switch to the Mac.

It seems that you have a few issues. It would be better to stick to one platform at a time. I don't do Mac, so some one else will have to help you with that. In regard to the info that you provide, when we ask for version, we mean build. The "latest version" tells us nothing. Please provide the build number as in v8.2 b000, which can be found in the lower left corner of the configuration window. They also want to know which version of the Mac OS that you are using.
Also, be aware that version 8 "does give you the option of two deck automix". You can use which ever version that you want, but if you did a thorough test, and read the manual, you may actually switch to version 8 like most of us. Version 7 was great, but the company has stated they do not plan any more upgrades to it.
As to switching to Mac from your Alienware, did you actually do an extensive research into your sound dropouts on this forum? Many of us use various PCs with far less firepower than yours, and do not have this issue. If we do, some one on the forum, or a company employee usually helps in a timely manner.
So, provide the right information, one platform at a time, and don't stop until your issues are resolved.
