I also pay monthly for pro infinity.im wondering why I cant use vdj 7 apart from a scroogy 10 mins as I prefer vdj 7 over vdj 8 theres more oldschool skins and add ons ect .

It's because V7 works off a permanent serial key and it does not support the subscription server side login system.

You can still use VDJ 7 skins with VDJ 8.
If you go any further back though (skins for VDJ 6, 5 etc) there may be a few incompatibilities - but they can still be modified to work with VDJ 8.
