I just finished scanning all my music files which did take a long time to do , can I take my database from my hard drive and copy and paste it on my other hard drive

Assuming your music files are located in exactly the same file location then yes. If it's an external drive it will have it's own database in the root folder.

Is it the database.xml file that we need to copy and is that the only one or should be copy others also?

One more question. If I add songs to virtual folders on my main computer when I copy the database.xml to my backup computer do I need to manually add the same songs to the virtual folders on my backup computer or will they be in the folders when I open VDJ?
