Hi all,
The remote works great on my ipad, but I can only connect it by turning my laptop into hotspot mode, which Windows 10 only allows with an internet connection.
I'm trying to find ways to connect when on the go, without internet. Basically, by setting up an adhoc wireless network.
Dug into different options, by it seems that my network card doesn't allow shared network, so I bought a wifi dongle, and it still doesn't work.
I'll keep looking for options, but if anyone found a solution, it would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Was able to make it work by installing a wireless adapter driver version for windows 8.1.
Seems to be that Window 10 has a new protocol that doesn't support ad hoc network.
Now i'm facing VDJ remote freezing after few inputs.
I guess I'll have to tinker more.

Yeah there’s a few of us who have troubles getting it to connect and stay connected.
I wish I could use a USB cable like the Serato Remote.....

Final update: Once I reverted the multiple settings I played with back to normal, it finally works.
In the end, the solution was a wireless dongle (OurLink AC600) with a windows 8.1 driver for it.
