The VirtualDJ folder (with it's data) will get created either way
Because the moment you load the song on the deck, it needs to get added on the database
Regardless of autosearchdb setting.
As I said, the "autosearchdb" setting when enabled adds songs on the database when you browse a folder and sees new files.
You can stop that, but you can't stop VirtualDJ from creating and updating the database when you load a song

As for ignoredrives setting you don't need a calculator or anything.
You simply type the drive letter there.
Or right click on the drive itself and select "Ignore Drive"

I tried your scripts, then looked at the setting in the options box but it never changed. To refresh, I'd go out of the options box then back in to look at the setting but still no change.

If you mean the search box on settings, it's not enough.
You need to close settings window entirely and open it again to see the change

Thank you! Didn't realize that Ignore Drives had been updated to only needing the drive letters.

I will retry the autosearchDB setting, closing out the Options & Tweaks box to check the setting. Been using VDJ for 14 years and I'm still a novice! Thank you for taking the time to explain things.
