Topic: poor audio quality / settings.xml

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I've noticed in recent weeks that the sound of my system was getting worse and worse.
I first suspected my top speakers and repeatedly adjusted the DSP, but the problem did not solve it 100%.
Now I've deleted the settings.xml for the first time and now the sound is exactly how I know it from my system.

I work with various controllers, all settings are now unfortunately gone.

How can the setting.xml so degrade the sound?

Should I create a separate settings.xml for each controller?

I use VDJ since many years and always update to latest Version. Must i delete the setting.xml with every Update?

It should not be necessary to remove it on update.
If a setting was incorrect, it's because it was set that way.

If you already deleted the old one, it's hard to tell which setting it may have been.
pitchQuality at a non-typical value such as 0 or -1 could be a possibility.

I have made a backup of the the old setting.xml file before i delete it. I have had never a problem like this before, it seems it comes with the latest updates.
