Thinking about buying Virtual DJ for a Karaoke party. The "Ask The DJ" feature seems really great, but a couple of questions:
1. How does the PayPal tips work? Is there an option where the singer can send the tip as a "friends and family" member so that no fees are taken out? I just can't imagine that, if someone tips you $1, from that amount .30 is taken out and then additional 2.9%. Hardly seems worth it.
2. Does the song list have a search feature? Or do the singers just scroll a very long list? Again, this doesn't seem very practical if you have a large amount of songs to choose from and they are scrolling on a phone.
If no search feature in #2, what's a good way to store a searchable list online? I know Songbookslive.com is only $19/year. But I was thinking of creating a shared Google spreadsheet maybe? Or perhaps a wordpress site with a database plugin like this person did: http://karaoke.jenaray.com/karaoke-song-list/
