Hi I am learning the ropes as a dj with a mate who has been doing for a number of years we are sharing a mixdesk at a night club on Saturday nights I plug in early on and play slow jams no problem (using rca to mic ) but as night goes on and It come s to my 20min dance slot lap top cannot push out sound what am I doing wrong ? is it memory latency things working in background or just soundcard (Realtek) is not good enough or is it down to not using USB at these gigs,
On my own at gigs no problem I use USB to USB with My Mixdesk express lap top is HP pav 2TB
so can I improve this sound output through mic as I do not want to loose these sharing gigs right now or is it case of swapping speaker leads or usb which will kill the sound on change overs any advice guys thank you
