Was using a playlist loaded in automix on Xmas day, but manually adjusting it as the day went on (background music). I noticed if I wanted to take a track from the bottom of the list and play it next the only way was to drag it to the top over several screens.
However if the track is in the sidelist window there is an option to play next.
Seems strange this option exists in the sidelist but not in the automix list itself?

Script tied to a key/button
automix_add_next
although I get your point about it being a context menu option.

I have my keyboard mapper disabled so no bueno ;)
Would like it as a right click in Automix.

I get your point/wish but ignoring the keyboard is a bit extreme, a blank keyboard mapping except shift+Fkey gives 12 extra buttons (more buttons, more better) and it'd be unlikely to press by accident.
Not dismissing your wish, just offering a work around.
That said....we can add shortcuts to the side pane , we can add scripts to custom buttons, it's not a huge leap to add script shortcuts to the side pane, then how far a leap is a method to add/edit context menus? (code wise not easy, but logically another step for vdj customisation, I'd love to be able to edit contexts)
