Topic: Virtual DJ Software will not accept my password

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

Hi, Has anyone ever had this problem? I open up the Virtual DJ software, and it says Your Virtual DJ has just been updated! Do you want to use the new version now? And I click on Yes. And then a box pops up and it says Virtual DJ 8 wants to make changes, enter your password to allow this. So I put in my password, and it will not accept my password. I have never had this problem before, so I don't understand why all of a sudden? I am using Virtual DJ 8, and have my same mac computer, same host, and same internet provider. My password works fine, in my Virtual DJ account, it just won't work with the software. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Or is there a way to update your Virtual DJ without putting your password in? Thanks for your help! Scott

I don't think that's coming from VDJ. I've certainly never seen that message (on PC) and I've installed hundreds of updates on multiple machines.

I suspect that message is some security thing from your OS. Are you running a firewall? Have you just updated your OS?

The password it's looking for would be the one you use to log in to your computer, not VDJ.

That's correct, I get it all the time on my Mac. It's your Mac Computer password, it's required on Mac OSX to install VDJ into your Applications folder.

Thank you very much!! I had no idea the password it was looking for was the one that I use to log in to my computer.
