Thank you! I would have never found it, why does it tell you "Sync" menu or "Smarty Key Match" if that's not whats on the actual menu. Seems counter productive.

Because you can turn it off on the SYNC menu (Click on the word "SYNC" on default VirtualDJ 2020 skin)
The method provided above does the same job from within VirtualDJ settings.

Because its in the sync menu :)
You also find it in deck options (in all layouts)

In the PRO skin of Virtual DJ 2021 there is no menu (I click Sync and no menu appears) I found the message very confusing.

Clicking on SYNC text in Deck Info area (Nr.8 https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/trackinfo.html ) in both Pro and Performance default skins, brings the Menu here.
The same Menu is offered from the Deck Options button (Nr.6 https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/decks/deckbasics.html )..
