I created a folder on my desktop, put some photos in it, then opened VDJ 2020, went to the video mixer section in the essentials skin and in the right drop down menu under the main preview window I selected the Cog next to Slide SHow effect. The side window for the slide show opened up. I went in there and selected the source folder on my desk for the pictures, set the time for each picture to three seconds and the fade transition time to 1 1/2 seconds. Then I clicked the slide show button in the video effects drop down box to activate the slide show and the button was highlighted but no slide show appeared on the preview window. I've looked on youtube and also the manual and can't find any additional information on how to activate it other than what I already did. Anyone know what I possible missed or am doing wrong?

so do you have slideshow set as audio only visualization or as a video effect? if set as audio only visual then you need video active and should appear in window.
if you are using as an effect then should start up soon as you tell it to go.
only thing I can think of is maybe the images are in an unrecognized format?
