I updated my hardware in the last day, it's a task but was necessary. 2012 mac is 8 years old so I did some maintenance. I upgraded my mac to a solid state hard drive and added more memory 8 to 16, overkill right well its running stable now and while the job took most of the day it was well worth it. I did the extra memory second so it's not necessary just to upgrade your hard drive. If you haven't done it in a while, look at the options while your equipment is running well.
New SSD 1TB H/D and a fresh install of the current OS - $170.00 and it booted up in half the time and is very stable. VDJ 2020 is running stable. Time sure flying, once upon a time it was hot computer, today its 8 years old with a new heart and more memory.
