I notice there were no more skins being made or updates to old ones. That default skin has to have pleased a lot of users.

They have done really well with the defaults, and took many of the good ideas of 3 party skins.
I've only made small tweaks, added more [deck independent] custom buttons on the top bar, made padcolours bigger and brighter. then I've removed some bits that I don't use, the only thing I've done I like more than the default is cues on songpos. routine 2 forced my hand on that one but I like it more now.

I need a skin that has the microphone control on the same page as audio - I need to be able to toggle while mixing...any ideas?

Just add to custom buttons, thats what they are for ;-)
