I can not get the audio broadcast to work. I have opened port 8000 on both my computer and router, and I STILL get the error message saying the DJ has no open port. Please help!!

When you have VirtualDJ broadcast running, use this https://www.canyouseeme.org/ and enter port 8000
Can your computer be reached?

Thanks for your response, but that won't let me enter 8000. It defaults to 80 and I can not change it

just type in 8000 in the field where it says 80 ;)

Lol, I had restarted the computer, so then number lock had gotten turned off and I couldn't type anything with the number pad. Anyway, now got it entered and it says it cannot see port 8000.

Then something is still blocking.
Try find your router model here https://portforward.com/router.htm to make sure you did the right thing.
As well as make sure VirtualDJ is not blocked in any software firewall, "anti virus suite" etc

SUCCESS! Man, thank you, that link helped. I had the ports open, but had not changed the part where you select the Service, then Needed By Device (my laptop). Appreciate your help my friend, be safe and well through this stuff we're all going through!
