I've been playing around with working on writing a VDJ Plugin on the side for fun. Any way we can get a way to run the browser_export command but have the ability to pass in a file name or file path?
Running browser_export would have the current functionality
Running browser_export 'some_file_name.csv' would export the csv to the given filename/path without opening the file browser window

Its a database backup feature added in VirtualDJ 2020.
It will backup with automatic date added to the name
See here : https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/virtualdj/interface/browser/toolbar/index.html#createbackup

Browser export and database backup are completely different things.

I don't understand what you ask, perhaps explain further ?
If you trigger browser_export action, you will be offered a OS dialog to select the path and name for your csv., so not sure why you need these parameters for.
If you still want to export to a specific file/folder and overwrite the existing one, it's just 2 clicks away !

In script automation would be nice for saving temporary search result
export as could be m3u too in a way to retreive search result later and work on it as a playlist/folder
