Topic: Need your help please!

Dieses Thema ist veraltet und kann veraltete oder falsche Informationen enthalten.

I'm using the latest and greatest VDJ 8, with a NVII controller. I've been broadcasting and streaming on FB lately and had no issues what so ever.

My only issue, is I'm trying to use a microphone which I connect to my NVII, I hear the sound through my speakers but my live broadcast does not capture my voice.

I did what someone suggested, I took my rca from my booth out in my NVII and connected it to my laptop in the microphone and headphone jack and added an input in VDJ to Record. This hasn't worked for me.

Any help please I really need to get my microphone going.

Thanks,

DJ JROCK

There’s an option in Settings under Record which you can set to make it record your microphone!

No setting under record.!

Ah - I was looking for this but for Numark NS6II.

My mic arrived today, I plugged it into Mic 1 slot, sorted out settings as described, ensured the hardware volume was up, and also just discovered the Mic button in the software to turn on but still no sound on Broadcast.

Can hear mic output from my speakers though.

Seems like the same problem as the OP but just different controller, so hopefully same solution is possible and appreciate any help!

Due to hardware limitations it's impossible to record the audio of the MIC inputs connected on the back of NS6II as their audio is routed directly on the master output of NS6II. If you wish to record your mics or use the unit to broadcast you'll have to use a second/different audio interface.

Unfortunately not possible on the NS6II

can he not hardwire master 2 back to his laptop line in?

or even, preamp the mic upto line level and feed it in as a lineIn input

Ok - there is no 'easy' way of doing this. ;-)

Thanks guys! Appreciate the help :-)

Thanks for the above. I kinda get the concept but a step by step would be awesome if possible.

Could I go into line-in from the mic direct into laptop?

Cheers!

Sorry - by "Master 2" that would be Booth?

I'll give that a go!
