The video was very useful but I still cannot get stem feature to do vocals, etc. My waveform display is set to shapes but I don't see it like it was described in the video. Probably, I need to reinstall.

I figured it out. Precomputing stems in my tracks did it for me. Thank you.

so that is sounds like setting -> performance -> precomputeStems is possibly set to "only use precomputed"
