I have been recording mixes problem free for months now and I just updated Virtual DJ, now, when I press record it records for a second or two, then the timecode freezes (the one showing how long i've been recording for). I then have to press stop record, but it only recorded whatever was happening up until the timecode froze. Any help? I am using a DDJ-1000 (rekordbox) with the most recent VDJ update. Im so frustrated right now.

What if you try record to a different location.
For example desktop?
Perhaps its something with the path

Same issue. The file starts records to 733kb and then finishes at 1.33MB. Looks like it's recording but it's not. First time recording since the update and it's a nasty nasty bug, and an epic 90 minute mix didn't record :( .

Hi, I record an hour long mix only to find out the mix was not being on my laptop. I don't know if it is because on the file name I used this symbol [:] as part of the name of the file.
Is there any possibility that I can retrieve the mix that I was recording??

It might be possible from the command line, but it will be tricky since you need the exact filename and both explorer and 'dir' from command line only show the part before the ":"

There might be other file managers that do support showing these files correctly though so that you could rename them.
