dj t boogie
i have been gettin screen freezes for like 5 secs or so (seems like a lifetime lol)
the waves would start shaking in place and music stops then all is well again (untill it happens again).
thought it was external hd so replaced it but still same problem. now today if i right click a song or try and change settings (performance tab ,select tab , browser options tab , right click a song or a playlist ,vdj closes itself out and restarts
it does this with nothing connected at all
brand new Dell G3 3500
intel core i5-10300H @2.50ghz
16gb memory
256gb ssd
GPU nvidia Geforce gtx1650
CPU intel UHD Graphics
running vdj 6100 same results in version b6067 lookin for answers i tried going to this version as well as changing settings to settings.old

so now if i repeat the same steps twice i.e right click a song vdj crashes and stay closed..heres a report if anyone can help i would appreciate it as i'm supposed to work tonight a social distance party thanks

so the intel graphics driver is the problem. using a generic driver i ran last night but kept getting a loud noise coming out the speakers whene it freeze now but its not closing . help would be appreciated ...im sure theres quite a few crash logs that can help determine whats going on ..got me looking bad over here smh

went back to vdj 2020 B5874 installed to a different folder and everything works .decided to let it update jus to see what happens and it updated and everythings working ..so far . gonna hook up a do a test run later .but no crashing of the program . was getting worried i should take the computer back ,but according to my reading my specs should be fine

ha!! lol just here talking to myself;self diagnosing my problems ..
shout out to my 88 views on here , haha
might help someone other than me ,who knows .
so 3 days of installing ..uninstalling drivers ,changing settings to settings.old , being told computer doesn't work with stems (even tho stems load in 2/3 secs before program just start freezing audio randomly then crashing on me ) something must was missing from within the install.
i compared the 2 install locations (original was named virtualdj so i named new install virtualdj2020 )
the original folder had one file : virtualdj.exe.temp
new folder has 2 files : virtualdj8.exe and virtualdj.visualelementsmanifest.xml
after seeing this i simply deleted the old folder and renamed the new folder .opened program and so far so good i can click without it crashing now will test for the freezing later today after kids get done online schooling

Update : I did a complete restart of windows twice .I got rid of all dell apps and preloaded apps. installed drivers with driver easy ,intel ,and nvidia .I also bought a cooling pad since Dell has the fans locked so they supposed to come on when needed and there's no way to control them manually.
So far so good first weekend with no problems ,it felt good not to stress . seems i have to play around in audio settings to get headphones to work though everytime
P.S The preconfigured audio settings are never right when i select what i'm using and hit apply (tracktor z2, mcx8000,or denon ds1) i always have to go in and reselect inputs and outputs ..weird
