Topic: No backspin SC5000

So I took the Denon SC 5000’s out for a spin this weekend and everything went smooth except the backspin.

I’ve tried a bunch of different numbers but nothing works. And no I’m not using a backspin fx, I am physically pulling the platter backwards to get it to spin.

Anything I should look for ??

Latest version, on a Mac running the latest OS.

VDJ puts the SDJ integration to shame but they can do backspins.

No it wasn’t on.

And it doesn’t really on my SR either.
 
So how how does it behave when u backspin ? Does the track stop , does it do any short backspin at all ?
Have you tried with default settings ?
 
The track stops and then immediately starts back up.

I am using the default settings.

I believe Paris had the same problem with a SB

After adjusting the platter feel it worked better but you can see at the end of the video the platter is spinning backwards but the music keeps playing forward.

Is there a way to have the album art of my choice in the center screen on the SC5000’s?? Kinda of how it works in standalone mode.

I want my logo to show all the time.
