I Finally got everything mapped to my likings ....... I’ve had VDJ since I was a kid and am grateful for the lifetime membership cause I literally just recently got comfortable with using VDJ over all other platforms since VDJ 2020 , I love this setup cause it’s Taylor made to my likings it’s unique to me and my work flow .... ima brake it all down for y’all
Akai LPD8 Pads :
Bank 1 - First 3 pads left to right are effects 1-3 top and bottom the forth pad is for cloning decks, the first 3 EQs left to right are for effects1-3; and the last two EQs top to bottom are sampler effects
Bank 2 - First pad top and bottom is for dumping the track/censor, the last three pads are for loop rolls from left to right .20 .50 & 1 EQs remain the same as bank 1
Midi Fighter 3D :
Bank 1 - 12 Sampler pads for drops
Bank 2 - 8 Hot_Cues for both decks
Bank 3 - Loop Rolls For Both Decks
Bank 4 - Stems/Loops For both decks
Using of Course the latest VDJ 2021 along side with 2 Numark TTX Turntables An Akai AMX Mixer And Phase DJ replacing needles for timecode ....... I love this setup it’s cheap but pretty much dose anything a controller or expensive mixer can do, some tips for the DJ on the Budget who wants to stay true to the feel of the Dj Culture PEACE !!
