have a new computer....windows 10, gateway....when i listen to music on the computer or with headphones, no problems....if i hook up to a mixer and bose speakers, music constantly skips beats or misses....like a skip on a record....any ideas how to stop this...it is annoying

You need to provide more information than just saying "a mixer".
Is it a DJ controller connected via USB, or something else? Please provide make and model.
