Finally using my slow season to update all my machines and take advantage of new features.
Noticed an issue for me.
I have what I feel is a pretty extensive custom mapping set for my keyboard. This incudes a lot of scripts that take advantage of single and double clicks of keys to perform actions. I also use SHIFT + as a modifier for quite a few scripts.
Even when custom mapping is selected, I lose the ability to use these scripts as the focus stays on the search bar.
Is there a way to build in an option where we as users have the choice to keep the focus on search while using a custom mapper?

Try turn off browserSearchByFirstLetter in settings
