I still am having problems configuring the equalization of song playback. I know it's in the settings somewhere, but I was hoping someone could put me on the right track.

What do you mean by "equalization of song playback"?
Do you literally mean EQ (bass, mid, treble) or something else?

thank you for your response. I strictly meant all songs playing out of my amplifier at the same volume. I have d/l'd the new VJ 2023 with the dark minimal skin. However, there is no slider to set at 12o'clock. Am running Windows 10 (64).

Thank you for your response. I can set the auto gain to auto, but it also says to have the gain slider at 12 o'clock. I am using the skin Dark Minimal and it doesn't have a slider like the others. Is there something else I need to do?

You don't need the gain control if you have autogain enabled. The default position is in the centre, and most of the time there's no need to adjust, so not having the control on the skin shouldn't matter.
