Just got a ASUS Laptop with 16GB Ram, i7 processor, NVidia GForce RTX Video card. Am using an older Pioneer DDJ-Ergo V with ASIO sound interface usb to laptop. Drivers loaded, all seem normal with the interface. Initial playing of audio has some subtle pops, drop outs, stutter. I saw a post re that STEMS could potentially cause this. Need to know how to disable it.
I also went into ASIO settings and increased the buffer to 1472 and latency to 33.3. That seemed to make the biggest difference and I can't detect the audio issues. I played audio from the computer using the computer sound card with no Pioneer DDJ-Ergo-V involved and that audio played just fine.
Anyone else have any suggestions?
Much appreciated.
