This may already be done but if not here goes.
A lot of us as VirtualDJ usage love that VirtualDJ supports as much common hardware out of the box, but we also suffer a bit of disappointment from two things:
- Delayed support
- Some sub-standard feature mappings due to hardware/firmware limitations
I believe that both are primarily due to Hardware manufacturers having VirtualDJ as an after thought in support.'
I know we have talked about how to make this change on other threads:
- Only buying when officially supported (retailer proof)
- making request on hardware manufacturer forums (userbase peer pressure)
I was wondering if more direct proof of actual usage can be supplied through telemetry. You already have our accounts linked, but you can have opt in tracking of hardware usage (tracking frequency, time uses, etc) as additional proof to hardware manufacturers.
All this is done within regional law requirements (e.g GDPR)
