Every time I open VDJ I get this pop up in the lower right corner.
I am not connected to the internet. If I connect then it goes away.
How can I get this to stop?

is that tip of the day?
if so turn it off in settings.

if it's not tip of the day then it's home user ads, keep your machine logged in

Not tip of day. This is a backup laptop, never had this before.
Usually is offline

Check to see if it's logged in.

This laptop is not logged in. Inly log in to update. This never happened before.

Maybe you were just lucky then. Generally if you're logged out it then reverts to free mode which displays ads.

Main system also never logged in, use it with no problems.
No internet where I use it.

What I mean is the laptop "logged in" to VirtualDJ and staying logged in. You don't need internet access once you have logged in except if you ask it not to remember you.

If the software thinks you are a "free" version user it will display ads.

Got it. The strange thing is, it's set to remember.

Which version is on there? I don't think there should be ads for a while now.

It stopped doing this for a few days: now it's back again.

Try renaming your settings.xml file with VDJ closed then log in again and see if it happens with a newly created one.

That seems to have stopped it.
Hopefully it stays this time.

Thanks
