I noticed that track time is displayed differently for some tracks. For example, a track may display 4:22 but another track will display 03:18. Why is a zero inserted in some tracks but not others? This is not a problem, but I am just curious as to why this occurs.

Just space, 3:18 offers a fraction more space than 4:22 so if the column spacing allows it, it places a leading zero

Thanks!

In other words: Increase your column width a little bit more!

I did that and got a display with two leading zeros, 00:02. How many leading zeros can I get?

Two
I mean usually tracks are not longer than 99 minutes (and still they would most likely be mixed CDs)
So, there's no point to add extra leading zeros.
