I have a Shure SM48 Dynamic mic connected to Port5 in the rear of a Pioneer DDJ800 controller. I can talk into the mic and hear everything fine until I load Virtual DJ. When I start VDJ, it detects the DDJ800 and it plays music great, all buttons work great, EXCEPT FOR THE MIC. No audio from the mic.
The Audio settings for input has mic going to DDJ-800 ASIO, IN 5 (mono), 44.1k 5ms 6o/6i
and mic2 going to DDJ-800 ASIO, IN 6 (mono), 44.1k 5ms 6o/6i
Not sure how to fix this.

nevermind. I found it. Went into settings, typed Microphone in the search, and turned "Booth Microphone" to ON.

Ah, so you were listening via the booth output rather than master out...
This is the kind of thing that should really be mentioned in the first post, as it's unlikely that someone will guess your setup.
