Topic: stem separation trouble
Hi,
I'll try to be as specific as I can:

I've been using the following script to split vocals to the other deck (1 to 3 and 2 to 4):

leftdeck ? stems_split 'vocal' ? on & deck 1 stems_split 'vocal' : off & deck 1 stems_split 'vocal' : stems_split 'vocal' ? on & deck 2 stems_split 'vocal' : off & deck 2 stems_split 'vocal' :

this works flawlessly.

Then I'm using this script that links (or unliks) the two tracks so you can scroll one wihtout affecting the other:

leftdeck ? stems_split ? deck 1 stems_split_unlink ? off & deck 1 stems_split_unlink : on & deck 1 stems_split_unlink : stems_split ? deck 2 stems_split_unlink ? off & deck 2 stems_split_unlink : on & deck 2 stems_split_unlink

This works flawlessly too.

So my problem:

Let's say Track A is playing on deck 1.
Ill use the first script to split the vocals to deck 3.
Then i introduce Track B on deck 2.
i use the "unlink" script so my deck 1 and 3 can move around freely.
Now i have transitioned from Track A to Track B.
At the moment Track B is playing with the voice stem of Track A on deck 3.

Problem here is when i try to load a new song to deck 1 it resets my stem pads and brings the full music back on deck 3.

I just want the voice from Track A to keep playing over Track B and being able to unload Track A from deck 1 without having all the stems coming back up!

Thanks in advance for your help!
