Hardware: Pioneer DDJ-800
Laptop: HP i7, 8gb RAM, Windows 10
I'm playing fine and have a song playing on Deck 3. I load a song on Deck 1 hit play on the controller, I see the waveform moving, everything looks normal, yet I hear no sound coming from the headphones. Nor is any sound coming from the speakers if I pull the volume up.
If I switch the deck to deck 2, I'm able to hear sound again. But after a few songs, the same thing happens. Sometimes I can switch back to deck 1 and hear the sound again. But sometimes both deck 1 and deck 2 won't have sound.
The only workaround I've found is to switch to LINE /AUX, in which case VDJ will report that there is nothing connected. If I switch back to Deck 1, I hear sound again.
Then I might be able to play both sides for 30-40 minutes, and sometimes it will do it all again.
Yes, I have a work around. Is there a setting in VDJ to avoid this? I've read that sometimes using the effects pad will cause this, which is annoying, because that's one of the main reasons I got the DDJ800.
