My favorite skin has a bug the creator refuses to address so I was hoping I could get help in correcting it. My question is how can I alter the behavior of the beat counter at the top of skins?

This what you mean is in the "Controller 2020" Skin since Version 3.4.2 - 2023/08/05.
press 4 times "Skin Button"/Top Zone/Beatcounter 1/2/3/4
