I posted yesterday about vdj constantly freezing up, so someone suggested re naming the settings.xml file as it can get corrupted sometimes. i did that once as i was able to access it within vdj when it did not freeze, and it worked, but the same problem keeps re occurring now and since vdj freezes, i can't access the settings.xml, so i need to find a way to access it another way. i checked online and the suggestion there was to open finder then navigate to
"~ /documents/virtualdj" but when i open finder, there's not obvious path to navitage to that so i'm sort of stuck. any suggestions are appreciated ..thx!

Given you are using a UNIX-ish path (with "~"), I'm assuming you are on a Mac.
On newer installs, the VirtualDJ folder has been moved to ~/Library/Application Support
(See here).

It's in a hidden folder. Do a Google search and it should come up.
