Thank you for reading and any advice.
I'm trying to replace a mixer and controller I've been using since I first went digital.
At 60 years old, I am not looking to do anything fancy with stems, my mixing is old school BPM-based, trying to keep the dance floor populated. My audiences are generally my age or older.
However, my American DJ 19" Racked Mixing Board has been adding a loud hum to my output. I've ruled out grounding issues and replaced all cabling. It's 20 years old and owes me nothing.
My controller, which still operates using Virtual DJ, no longer allows me to separate left and right decks, so I can no longer preview a song without sending it to the speakers. Beat mixing without headphones is not easy and often not good.
Both of those items are mounted with some other gear in a massive rolling case which is becoming too much for me to get back into the van at the end of the night.
Mixer Must-Haves:
2 or 3 XLR Microphone Inputs
XLR Outputs
Mixer luxuries I would like to have:
Subwoofer Output (with sweeping control) (prefer XLR)
Booth Output (prefer XLR)
Controller Must Haves:
Work with Virtual DJ
Jog Wheel
I do about 8 gigs per year with this type of setup, so the concept of spending $3k on a mixer and another $2k on a controller makes me want to throw in the hat and get out of the business I've been in since 1981.
Trying to keep the combined cost under $2,500.
I am close to ditching "DJ" mixing boards altogether in favor of a Mackie Pro FX12 which would give me all my XLRs and devoting the bulk of the money toward the correct controller.
Any ideas, thoughts, questions are welcome!

Denon Prime Go+
Booth out is jack rather than XLR but that's the only thing. No DJ controllers have a separate subwoofer output.
No mic EQ either but again that's a personal thing whether you need it or not.
Works perfectly with VDJ and it has the Denon Engine standalone too so depending on the gig you wouldn't need a laptop either.

Things have moved on. Many DJs now have dumped all the 19" rack mount stuff, and controllers usually include a mixer section.
You won't find much current DJ stuff that's rack mountable.
The Denon Prime series are designed as standalone DJ playback systems that don't require a computer, so if all you need is a controller for VDJ, it's overkill.
You're unlikely to find a controller with three mic inputs, but two is fairly common (although not always both as XLR). Something like the Rane Four maybe?
