How to use headphones on a computer so that one channel plays for our recipients and on the other channel set so that we can listen to the song but so that our recipients cannot hear it.

What have you tried? What happens when you try it? Those configurations in the manual work well for many people. Depending on what I'm doing and not using a controller, I'll sometimes use an external sound card for my main out and built-in headphone jack for pre-listening.
