Topic: DDJ SX2 Mappings ?
Hey Guys :) I own a ddj sx2 and have recently started using the VirtualDJ software along with it. What I have noticed is that some of the control mappings seem to be wrong ? For example when I use the multiple fx knobs only one of them works and the other on buttons load on a different fx to use. Another thing is when I try to turn sync off I cannot, I use the shift button and everything and before you tell me to turn off the automations I already have and it still does not turn off.

Are the mappings for the ddj sx2 wrong ? Can anyone with the same controller help me out in setting the maps ?

Thanks for letting me know :) Do you have any idea on how to fix the sync issue that I have ?
 
If you read the other thread you posted in, you'd know sync isn't a mode, it's an action that applies only when pressed.
 
Yes I do know that but I cannot control the action while pressing the button. It does not turn off when I press the button it is always permanently on.
 
If you understood what @locodog is saying about how Sync works in VirtualDJ, you'd also understand what what your saying (Sync always being on) cannot be true by using basic Sync itself. You probably have one or more of the Auto Sync options on - Auto Sync on Play/smartplay, Auto Pitch Lock are some of those features.

Read up on transport controls and how to disable those features and see if that helps:
