Topic: Timecode CD question
I'm curious if you're running a non native cdj (800) with a burnt timecode CD, can VDJ recognize if you execute a loop on the player?

As in VDJ recognizes that the timecode signal is being looped?

Yes it can but you will not get the smart loop or any smart functions of vdj.

Thank you. What is smart loop again?

I'm guessing you're saying I'd have to trigger the in and out perfectly.

Could the limitations of no CD midi control (cdj800 MK2). Be overcome if you have a midi supported mixer, like a Rane SixtyFour?

Example: my decks are just there for timecode and vinyl emulation, but the mixer is mainly controlling VDJ GUI

There is no difference between using Timecode records on Turntables and Timecode CDs on CDJs - the Players are just generating the signal and the software interprets with all of the functions available (loops, cues, functions all work as described on the Timecode page).
