Topic: Automatic sampler volume
Hi, I have a problem that I haven't been able to solve for a long time. I apologize in advance if this has already been solved here (I can't find the answer anywhere).
I like to use a sampler in VDJ (various sounds such as applause, laughter, buzzer, etc.). I play these sounds in the main music (e.g. when a dancer creates an original creation, I give him a round of applause). However, during music production during the day I play the music at different volumes and the problem is that I have to manually correct the volume of the sampler (it is estimated incorrectly). If I set it incorrectly, it results in the sampler being too loud or, conversely, not being heard well.

My idea is that the volume of the sampler would always be automatically about 20% higher than the main music.

Is it possible to set something like this in VirtualDJ (e.g. using a script)?
Thank you

What I do to keep the volume of the sampler more constant from sample to sample is use the LoudMax plugin on the sampler FX slot. I also have a physical knob on my controller that I can adjust if required.

Thanks a lot for your response! I'm not familiar with the LoudMax plugin, so I'd like to make sure once again - can it solve my problem? I need the sample to always be a little louder than the main music. I don't play at a constant volume during a party. Is LoudMax a solution for me? I had previously equalized the volume of all samples using an external application...

If you use the master volume to change the volume then both decks and sampler will already follow
