Topic: Help with Denon MC6000
Hi everyone-

Hoping I can get some help. After about 6 years, I pulled out my MacBook Pro and Denon MC 6000 controller as someone wants me to play some music for an upcoming event.

I've gotten everything to work but an issue I'm having is the my channels don't seem to be controlling the correct song. For instance, I have a in deck 2 but the volume slider (#2 out of 4) seems to control the song in the right deck, where it used to control the song on the left deck. Not sure what I'm doing wrong as I've spent several hours trying different configurations and none seem to work. I have followed the instructions from here, https://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/denon/mc6000/setup.html and still can't get it to work.

In the past, I had it where I didn't use the cross-fader, I would just mix in by raising the channel volume while decreasing the other one.

On the back of the my mixer, I have the switches set to the following:

MAC
Mixing Mode = Int Mix
Output Source = Rec Out/Mic

Within VDJ I have:

Output=Speaker and Headphone
Hardware = DN MC-6000

Outputs
Master->Denon MC-6000-->Chan 1 & 2
Headphones->Denon MC-6000-> Chan 3 & 4

On my mixer:
Channel 2 knob at the top is turned to USB 1/2 Midi
Channel 3 know at the top is turned to USB 3/4 Midi

Front of mixer:
CH1, CH2, CH3, & CH4 are all set to through. and the X-Fader Contour is turned all the way to the right.

Any help is appreciated.

Nick
