Does anyone know how to revert back to a previous version of VDJ? I’m not a huge fan of the 2026 update and want to go back to the previous version.

hello,
is there a way to have back the 8909 or any other following release that has not AI tools?
It's unclear if the version 9004 is already "2026" or while being without the "part 2" is ok, since reading the standard log (https://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/changelog.html) the 8962 looks like it introduce AI tools (that I don't want, lol) while in the advanced log (https://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/changelog.html?view=advanced) seems that is just minor fixes up to 8985 or even 9004 that are both available on the previous built page.
i have to make a new clean installation on a different device and I would like to have a "safe" official installer but with a clean version without any AI tools.
thanks <3

If you don't want the ai tools simply don't use them?

As far as I know there is no "Terminator" mode in VirtualDJ. So you are "safe".

i know is safe but for some old pc i have (and i use) is better to NOT have them instead of just "not using" lol
i was asking for some details through the different versions, can i please get an answer?

The answer is "don't do it" :)
But you CAN get 2 different 32 bit versions.
They are the final builds for previous Windows versions:

It's from the requirements page:
https://virtualdj.com/wiki/Minimum%20system%20requirements.html

@klausmogensen
thanks but i dont need 32bit version. not that bad luckily. but my doubt about the versions details are still uncleared :/
btw the "safe" i was talking about was referring to have the "official" old installer downloaded from here, rather than from softonic or others "external"

It's unlikely to be a VDJ issue as all the buikds are rigorously tested.

You will need to raise a support ticket to request the older version.

yes but (as said before above):
"It's unclear if the version 9004 is already "2026" or while being without the "part 2" is ok, since reading the standard log (https://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/changelog.html) the 8962 looks like it introduce AI tools (that I don't want, lol) while in the advanced log (https://www.virtualdj.com/products/virtualdj/changelog.html?view=advanced) seems that is just minor fixes up to 8985 or even 9004 that are both available on the previous built page."
there are differences between standard and andvanced changelog even for the same version. idk which version to ask to the support when opening a ticket

Why don't you ask support at the same time?
