In the current Early Access version b9171, there appears to be a small but rather nasty bug in conjunction with the Prime 4+.
Everything works normally on the first launch. However, if you close VirtualDJ, it seems that HID mode is not exited correctly. If you then restart VirtualDJ, the program freezes completely.
Neither ending it via the Task Manager nor killing individual processes helps – only a complete restart of Windows 11 resolves the issue.
This behavior has clearly only occurred since the Early Access build b9171.

I'm having the same problem with the b9005 PC on different systems...and on different computers...nobody knows what's wrong!

At least in my case, it's definitely the beta.
If I revert to the release version, everything is fine...
with the early version installed, the error immediately reappears.
There's no doubt about it for me.
It seems as if the HID mode isn't exiting, and the P4 thinks VDJ is still running... but it isn't.
A computer reboot fixes it.
The problem does NOT occur with the release candidate.
I can start and stop VDJ as often as I want, and everything is fine.

There is no HID mode in any Denon device, so not sure how you came up with this conclusion.

I suspected this...
However, the problem persists...
1. Everything starts fine... for hours.
2. VDJ closes, the P4's TFT freezes and dont went back to the Black screen.
3. VDJ restarts, VDJ freezes.
After closing VDJ, a task remains that I can terminate, but it's useless.
It's NOT the Denon's fault!
I don't care what it's called.
I´m sure...
The developers will know exactly what's meant.

The problem persists with version b9209. However, it now takes quite a long time for VDJ or the Prime 4 to be recognized at all.
This doesn't apply to the audio interface, which is available immediately.
This isn't a problem at home, but in a live setting, restarting VDJ would only work with a complete Windows reboot.
