I've deinstaled reinstalled rebooted laptop numerous times, sat here for nearly 5 hours, unistalled windows files, lost everything reinstalled again bur stil not working, I can play music direct from windows media and sound is great as soon as I go through virtual DJ back to no vocals again. This is using Denon Dj SC Live 4

Have you tried outputting the sound to the laptop speakers to see if it's an issue with the controller?
