Hi,
Is any else experiencing issues with 6/8 time signature songs with fluid grids?

What's your issue? What's the track?
Obviously VDJ regards everything as being 4/4 (currently anyway) because it's the most widely used, so the analysis won't automatically detect that something is 6/8. Therefore you'll have to get your hands dirty.
Personally I've not tried to analyse tracks that stray far from 4/4 so I can't even comment on how easy (or not) editing might be.
IMO it would be nice to have an option in the editor to set a time signature.

Well, pretty much any song with 6/8 signature that has a variable beat grid is showing the wrong bpm values. It’s all over the place, that includes Armenian, Russian, Persian and etc. At least before we were able to use the multibpm and VDJ would pick up the changes and make the correct corrections. At this point, a lot of djs I know in our community are struggling and had to revert back to an older version.

AFAIK there isn't any DJ software that scans BPMs in 6/8 time though (they all scan with 4/4 time assumption), and the old multi-BPM analysis was no exception. You still can edit the BPM manually afterwards, but the process is different from before.
If you care about the beat exactly, you can readjust and then use fractional beat lengths I suppose with loops and beat aware effects directly in vdjscript.
If you don't care exactly, but just want like a general awareness of speed relative to say a 4/4 track, you can scale the BPM => you want 4 beats within thr 6 beat measure you coul scale rhe measure appropriately for that (BPM would maybe be like 2/3 slower than option 1)), and then you can match against 4/4 tracks.
Either way yiu havr to edit + do some math.
Time signature is a good add requesr though.
