Am I OK to update my Prime 4 to the latest firmware / software and still work with VDJ? Thanks!

Someone reported last night their Prime Go plus wasn't connecting to software after the 5.0 upgrade so probably better waiting to see if this is a widespread thing.
Rolling back to previous firmware won't be easy either as they have changed the way Album art is handled so it's a new database and file format.
Also seems that people with LC6000 players can't connect to other decks or controllers either.
Being such a big update it will unfortunately have bugs and in the past it's taken them months to put patches out.

I'll try my Prime 4 with VDJ later and see what happens.

Yes, seems fine here.
