Topic: ability to lock BPM data
i think we need the ablity to lock the bpm data on the tracks one we have set it up to our liking.

there have been many times now, where my multiple BPM tracks (which i did manually before)
have somehow forgotten their bpm data, whether this is because of the introduction of fluid beatgrids, and the necesity to re-analyze these tracks.. i am not sure, but there is no advance warning, so when i notice it, im literally in front of a crowd. if you dont notice your bpm has mysteriously changed, of course hitting loop or anything like that is a disaster waiting to happen,

Id like to add, that the old mutltiple BPM system while tedius to use, it was well suited to certain kinds of tracks. such as transition tracks, which contain only 2 different BPMs. they are not "fluid" as such. id like if it was still available to us aside from fluid grids which, dont get me wrong, its cool but, to me, are more suited to music played with live instruments which we usually dont use for mixing anyways, or we use "steady versions"

but all in all , i think we need to be able to lock them once we have them how we want, so that any new features would only affect new songs.

Unless you reanalyze it won't change on its own.

well, i dont know whats going on then, becuas there have been numerous times that it did changee, particularly with tracks that have 2 BPMs. It is definitely happening.
